McLean Architects were requested to provide a scheme for Morris & Spottiswood to convert their existing warehouse into additional office accommodation.

The materials and finishes used were of a high specification with particular emphasis on the lighting design to achieve an aesthetic which reflected the quality of the business.

Further to the success of the phase 1 development for Morris & Spottiswood McLean Architects were invited to rationalise the main office accommodation.

The design included a central filing wall with mobile storage which has dramatically reduced the amount of paper per person, taking this client closer to being a paperless office.

The works included a dramatic reception area which showcases the workmanship of the company’s joinery staff which is carried through to the bespoke ergonomic furniture within the office accommodation.
